SHANGHAI, Jun. 14 (SMM) – Overnight, SHFE 1608 copper started lower at RMB 35,200/mt and grew to RMB35,540/mt, to end at RMB 35,390/mt, up RMB 110/mt. Positions were up 120.
On Tuesday, SHFE 1608 copper opened at RMB 35,400/mt and once advanced to RMB 35,430/mt. The red metal finally closed at RMB 35,110/mt, off RMB 170/mt or 0.48%. Positions were up 1,306. Positions of all SHFE copper contracts fell 2,998 to 730,000 with trading volumes at 480,000 lots.
