SHFE Zinc Prices Close with Increases (2016-7-1)

SHANGHAI, Jul. 1 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 zinc opened at RMB 16,445/mt last evening, and closed at RMB 16,395/mt, up RMB 30/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1608 zinc were 94,000, and positions were up 4,720 to 197,000.

SHFE 1609 zinc dipped to RMB 16,300/mt but then rallied today, and climbed to RMB 16,570/mt in the afternoon, and closing at RMB 16,545/mt, up RMB 180/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE zinc were down 49,000 to 497,000, and positions increased 19,000 to 446,000.
