SHANGHAI, Feb. 13 (SMM) – Outbound shipments of China’s steel exports were up 23.1 percent in March, measured on a monthly basis, according to China Customs.
Exports of Chinese finished steel, up 29.6 percent on a yearly basis, grew to 9.98 million tonnes in March, while imports were 1.27 million tonnes, up 36.6 percent month-on-month and up 5.0 percent year-on-year.

In other news, China’s iron ore imports were 85.77 million tonnes in March, up 16.5 percent month-on-month and 6.5 percent year-on-year.
