MEXICO CITY (Scrap Register): Mexico government has renewed the antidumping duty of 29.3 percent for another five years on imports of steel plate from Russia, the ministry said in a country's official gazette.
The duty imposed product is hot-rolled plate with width greater than or equal to 600 mm and thickness equal to or greater than 4.75 mm, but not exceeding 10 mm. The product originating in Russia has boron content equal to or greater than 0.0008 percent.
In 1996, the country's economic ministry first imposed a definitive antidumping duty of 29.3%. The duty remained in place following five-year reviews in 2003, 2007 and 2011.
