SHANGHAI, Oct. 27 (SMM) – Last week, four of China’s five major ports saw no arrivals of nickel ore shipments, Shanghai Metals Market survey shows.

Five ships, carrying 250,000 tonnes of nickel ore, arrived at the Port of Lianyungang last week, becoming the only one port reporting arrivals of shipments during the period.

Last week, nickel ore inventories at China’s top five ports – Tianjin, Rizhao, Lanshan, Lianyungang, and Jingtang – totaled 15.55 million tonnes, flat with the previous week’s level.

Trading at China’s five major ports was quiet as a whole.
