#0 zinc prices were between RMB 15,080-15,120/mt, with spot premiums between RMB 40/mt against SHFE 1407 zinc contract prices.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 30 (SMM) – #0 zinc prices were between RMB 15,080-15,120/mt, with spot premiums between RMB 40/mt against SHFE 1407 zinc contract prices. #1 zinc prices were between RMB 15,050-15,060/mt. SHFE 1407 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 15,070/mt, then hovered around RMB 15,075/mt. Spot prices resisted declines, with spot premiums expanding. Smelters were actively moving goods, but traders lacked interest in operations. Downstream demand was also soft, leaving transactions muted. Shuangyan branded #0 zinc prices were around RMB 15,110/mt, with RMB 15,080-15,090/mt for Qinxin and Yuguang branded #0 zinc. AZ and Bailing branded #0 zinc prices were between RMB 15,080/mt.
