SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,855/mt on Tuesday evening.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 26(SMM) – SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,855/mt on Tuesday evening. LME zinc prices rose by over 2%, but SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices hovered around RMB 14,865/mt, and finally closing at RMB 14,865/mt, up RMB 75/mt or 0.51%.

SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,865/mt on Wednesday, then inched down and moved between RMB 14,820-14,840/mt. As LME zinc prices edged up, SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices rose and closed at RMB 14,875/mt, up RMB 85/mt or 0.57%. Trading volumes decreased by 5,802 lots, to 24,952 lots, and total positions increased by 512 lots, to 77,100 lots.
