Hubei Yangtze Nickel High-Tech Co. is near completion of an 80,000-tpy ferro-nickel factory in the namesake, central province of China, local media reported today.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 18 (SMM) – Hubei Yangtze Nickel High-Tech Co. is near completion of an 80,000-tpy ferro-nickel factory in the namesake, central province of China, local media reported today.

The factory, located in Hubei’s Jingzhou city, incorporates a dock with four berths of 3,000 tonnes each, the report said.

Yangtze Nickel introduced rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) from Ukraine and planned to import bauxite from Indonesia for this factory, the production capacity of which was designed at 200,000 tpy, according to information on its website.
