SHANGHAI, Nov. 6 (SMM) – Ganzhou Rare Earth Group Co. and Rising Nonferrous Metals Co. are buying a rare earth element (REE) below market prices ahead of national stockpiling program, DZHNews reported.

The two companies are buying dysprosium oxide at 1.8 million yuan ($293,310) per tonne and 1.85 million yuan per tonne, respectively, the Chinese news agency reported today, citing unnamed industry sources.
