North American copper scrap prices edged slightly higher

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North American copper scrap prices inched higher marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 19th Friday.

Alternator prices remained unchanged. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased by $0.03 per Lb . #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also inched higher by $ 0.01 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery  #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery remained unchanged. #3 Copper-Light copper prices were up by $0.01 per Lb. Meantime, Copper Radiator prices saw little change.

Copper Transformer Scrap, Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends did not see any price variation.

Both Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices too saw no variation.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery, Heater Cores and Romex Wire prices also remained unchanged from yesterday.

Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas lights moved sideways with prices remaining stable.
