China February Copper, Copper Product Imports 298,102 Tons, Down 15.1% on Month

China's imports of copper, copper alloy and semifinished products in February fell 38.5% from a year earlier to 298,102 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Friday.

Mar 07, 2013 (Dow Jones) BEIJING--China's imports of copper, copper alloy and semifinished products in February fell 38.5% from a year earlier to 298,102 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Friday.

February imports fell 15.1% on month.

In the first two months, imports fell 27.8% on year to reach 649,062 tons, customs said.
