DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingOct 24, 2012 (Dow Jones) BEIJING--China's refined copper imports in September rose 17.4% on month and 6.9% on year to 294,591 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Wednesday.
Imports in the first nine months rose 49.9% to 2.68 million tons.
September copper concentrate imports rose 25.2% on year to 704,331 tons, while January-September imports were up 15.5% at 5.3 million tons.
China is the world's largest copper consumer.
