China September Copper, Copper Product Imports 394,837 Tons, up 3.8% on Year

China's imports of copper, copper alloy and semifinished products in September rose 3.8% on year, to 394,837 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Saturday.

Oct 12, 2012 (Dow Jones) BEIJING--China's imports of copper, copper alloy and semifinished products in September rose 3.8% on year, to 394,837 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Saturday.

September imports rose 11% from August.

In the first nine months of the year, imports rose 32.6% on year to reach 3.6 million tons, customs said.
