SHANGHAI, Jul. 24 (SMM) –SMM's latest survey found that the average operating rate at copper bar producers inched down to 62.6% in July. An increasing number of copper bar producers in Zhejiang's Zhuji City have resumed operations following environmental protection inspections. The shifting in orders from Zhuji to other regions has thus reversed and partially explains the decreased order volumes reported out of Ningbo. July is traditionally a low demand season. Coupled with high temperatures, copper bar orders have dropped in July.
