South China Aluminum: Buyers on The Sidelines, Trading Quiet

SHFE aluminum prices failed to rise further after opening higher and surrendered earlier gains, depressing spot aluminum market.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 16 (SMM) – SHFE aluminum prices failed to rise further after opening higher on Monday and surrendered earlier gains, depressing spot aluminum market. In Guangdong, upward room for spot aluminum prices was limited, leaving mainstream traded prices between RMB 15,460-15,480/mt. Downstream buyers held a wait-and-see attitude, with limited deals done.
