SHFE #1 Lead Price Movement on July 12

SHFE lead prices gapped lower and moved weakly Thursday, while spot lead prices edged down.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 12 (SMM) – SHFE lead prices gapped lower and moved weakly Thursday, while spot lead prices edged down. Quotations for Nanfang were mainly at RMB 15,080/mt, with spot premiums over the most active SHFE lead price at RMB 120/mt. Shenqian and brands from Gejiu region were quoted between RMB 14,980-15,000/mt. Offers for Hengchang were RMB 14,900/mt. Traders remained cautious due to negative market conditions, leaving transactions limited.
