SHFE Lead to Trade at Highs (2016-3-1)

SHFE 1604 lead will trade at highs of RMB 13,600-13,800/mt on Mar. 1 due to China’s pro-growth measures.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 1 (SMM) – SHFE 1604 lead will trade at highs of RMB 13,600-13,800/mt on Mar. 1 due to China’s pro-growth measures.

Eyes will be on US February Markit manufacturing PMI. LME lead will move between USD 1,740-1,770/mt during Asian trading hours Tuesday. In China, lead producers rush to sell while downstream buyers more favor secondary refined lead. As such, spot lead will quote at RMB 13,750-13,900/mt.
