According to the latest SMM survey of major Chinese copper wire rod producers, the utilization ratio of scrap copper slipped again in June.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 10 (SMM) – According to the latest SMM survey of major Chinese copper wire rod producers, the utilization ratio of scrap copper slipped again in June.

In SMM's view, as scrap copper supply remained tight in June, the price spread between bare bright and refined copper hovered around RMB 800/mt, keeping the utilization ratio at low levels.
