About 5.26% of Chinese copper wire rod producers expect their orders to grow in October, according to SMM’s latest survey.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 14 (SMM) - About 5.26% of Chinese copper wire rod producers expect their orders to grow in October, according to SMM’s latest survey.

Some producers around Hangzhou, Zhejiang province that were forced to shut down due to the G20 Summit in Hangzhou will see output recover to normal level in October, the optimistic producers said.

Some 26.32% see orders falling in October, as end-users had built stocks before China’s National Day holiday.

68.42% expect their orders to stabilize in October.
