SHFE #1 Lead Price Movement on May 30

On Wednesday, lead prices in China’s domestic spot market fell along with SHFE lead prices.

SHANGHAI, May 30 (SMM) – On Wednesday, lead prices in China’s domestic spot market fell along with SHFE lead prices. Quotations for Chihong Zn & Ge were initially between RMB 15,250-15,260/mt, with premiums of RMB 100/mt over the most active SHFE lead contract price. Nanfang and Shuikoushan were quoted at RMB 15,200/mt. In the afternoon, offers for branded lead dropped by about RMB 10/mt as SHFE lead prices fell further. Enterprises downstream bought branded lead at lower prices, leaving transactions improved from the previous trading day.
