The most active SHFE aluminum price failed to rise up due to a lack of upward momentum.

SHANGHAI, May 29 (SMM) – The most active SHFE aluminum price failed to rise up due to a lack of upward momentum. In South China, buying interest remained low by month’s end, but cargo holders were eager to sell due to cash needs. Mainstream traded prices were between RMB 16,120-16,140/mt and transactions were quiet.
