DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, May 8 (SMM) – According to SMM survey, the price spread between scrap and refined copper narrowed again in April, so scrap copper had no appreciable price advantages against refined copper. In this context, copper wire rod producers had little intention of using scrap copper as raw materials in April.
The price gap between #1 bare bright (including tax) and refined copper hovered between RMB 400-700/mt during April, propelling copper wire rod producers to use refined copper as raw materials.
