On Monday, spot aluminum transactions were sparse in Guangdong.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 9 (SMM) – As spot aluminum inventories in Guangdong remained stable around 250,000 mt recently, combined with reports of production cuts at aluminum enterprises, cargo holders were not willing to move goods. On Monday, spot aluminum transactions were sparse in Guangdong. Sellers held prices firmly at RMB 16,040-16,050/mt, and quotations at RMB 16,030/mt were hardly seen. Despite limited demand downstream, supply fell short of demand with low-price goods rarely seen.
