On Friday, despite the approach of the Qingming Festival holiday, buying interest in South China remained low.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 30 (SMM) – On Friday, despite the approach of the Qingming Festival holiday, buying interest in South China remained low as enterprises were under financial pressures at month’s end. Replenishment was rare prior to the holiday, and cargo holders were not willing to move goods. Mainstream transactions were done between RMB 15,960-15,980/mt. In the afternoon, both sellers and buyers stayed out of the market, and only limited transactions were made.
