South China Aluminum: Futures Stage a Weak Track, Spot Prices Up Slightly

On Tuesday, SHFE 1206 aluminum price fell after opening at RMB 16,260/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 27 (SMM) – On Tuesday, SHFE 1206 aluminum price fell after opening at RMB 16,260/mt, but stabilized at the tail of trading at RMB 16,235/mt. Trading volumes continued to decrease, and spot aluminum prices in Nanhai moved up slightly, with mainstream transactions done at RMB 16,000-16,010/mt. Some sellers were reluctant to move goods, driving up prices, but others were actively moving goods and lowered prices to RMB 16,000/mt. Transactions improved slightly from the previous trading day.
