SHANGHAI, Mar. 13 (SMM) – Traded prices of spot aluminum in Shanghai were between RMB 15,930-15,960/mt on Tuesday, with discounts of RMB 10-40/mt over the SHFE current-month aluminum price. Low-iron aluminum was traded between RMB 16,030-16,050/mt in Shanghai. Traded prices of spot aluminum in Wuxi were between RMB 15,940-15,960/mt. The completion of the Greek debt exchange boosted metal markets. The increases in SHFE aluminum price promoted buying interest, and cargo holders held prices at RMB 15,930/mt. However, downstream buying interest remained weak, leaving spot prices hard to increase. Transactions improved slightly from previous trading day.
