DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightMOSCOW, Mar 06, 2012 (Dow Jones) -- Russia exported in January 19,400 metric tons of copper, 70% more than in January 2011, the federal customs service reported Tuesday.
The exported copper was worth $129.9 million compared with $106.3 million in January 2011.
Russia's nickel exports in January totaled 34,900 tons, 2.3 times the mount exported in January 2011. The exported nickel was worth $643.3 million compared with $381.4 million a year ago.
Practically all the copper and nickel exported in January went to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States.
