SMM Morning Review - 2012/3/5 Zinc Market

LME zinc prices overnight continued to fluctuate around USD 2,100/mt last Friday.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 5 (SMM) – LME zinc prices overnight continued to fluctuate around USD 2,100/mt last Friday. German actual retail sales fell in January, while the number of Spanish unemployment was up 2.4% to 4.7 million, rising for 7 straight months, so LME zinc prices finally closed at USD 2,118/mt, down USD 8/mt. SHFE 1205 zinc contract prices should move between RMB 15,900-16,100/mt today, with spot discounts between RMB 350-420/mt.
