The most active SHFE aluminum prices struggled around RMB 16,300/mt on Monday.

SHANGHAI, Feb 13 (SMM) – The most active SHFE aluminum prices struggled around RMB 16,300/mt on Monday. Trading sentiment was depressed in the markets. Downstream purchases improved slightly in spot markets in South China. Cargo holders were still not willing to move goods at lower prices, driving price up to RMB 15,880-15,900/mt, but spot aluminum supply was sufficient in the market, transactions were modest in the afternoon.
