DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jan. 16 (SMM) – LME zinc prices fell slightly last Friday after a rise of four consecutive days. Standard & Poor's downgraded credit ratings of nine eurozone countries, cutting AAA rating of France and Austria. As a result, LME zinc prices finally closed at USD 1,958.3/mt, down USD 9.5/mt. Trading volumes decreased by 1,674 lots to 10,707 lots, and total position increased by 1,427 lots to 268,741 lots. SHFE 1204 zinc contract prices should move between RMB 14,750-15,050/mt today, with spot discounts between negative RMB 100-200/mt.
