First Quantum Mauritania Copper Output Seen Reaching 35,000 Tons

Mauritanian Copper Mines SA, a unit of First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (FM), will produce 35,000 metric tons of copper this year, the AMI state-run press agency said.

Aug. 22 (Bloomberg) –Mauritanian Copper Mines SA, a unit of First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (FM), will produce 35,000 metric tons of copper this year, the AMI state-run press agency said, citing Aboubekrine Ould Abderrahmane, an administrative director. Output was 33,100 tons in 2010, Mauritania said at the time.
