Freeport-McMoRan’s Cerro Verde copper mine in Peru suspended production due to an indefinite strike staring last Friday, wenhua.com reported.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 13 (SMM) - Freeport-McMoRan’s Cerro Verde copper mine in Peru suspended production due to an indefinite strike staring last Friday, wenhua.com reported.

About 40,000 tonnes of copper production will be affected each month due to the strike. 1,300 labor union workers stopped work.
