SHANGHAI, Aug. 15 (SMM) – Most active SHFE 1110 aluminum contract price failed to break through RMB 17,600/mt today, and spot aluminum prices in south China fell in response, with mainstream trading prices of RMB 18,150-18,180/mt. Market transactions were sluggish during the day due to strong wait-and-see sentiment among downstream buyers and low selling interest among goods holders.
