SHANGHAI, Jul. 29 (SMM) – After SHFE aluminum prices opened lower and moved downward with an over 1% loss, spot aluminum prices

SHANGHAI, Jul. 29 (SMM) – After SHFE aluminum prices opened lower and moved downward with an over 1% loss, spot aluminum prices in south China fell sharply after days of surge. Mainstream traded prices of spot aluminum in the area were between RMB 18,720-18,750/mt. Though goods holders increased their supplies, wait-and-see attitude was strong among downstream buyers, with only a few middlemen purchasing at lower prices. Market transactions were extremely sluggish.
