Russia Jan-June Aluminum, Zinc, Nickel Output Down On Year, Copper Up

Russia's January to June aluminum output fell by 2% compared with the same months of 2010, the federal statistics service reported Tuesday.

MOSCOW, Jul 19, 2011 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Russia's January to June aluminum output fell by 2% compared with the same months of 2010, the federal statistics service reported Tuesday.

The statistics service does not give output in tonnages, only change in percentage.

Russia's zinc output in January to June was 1.2% less than a year ago while the copper output over the same months of 2011 increased by 1% compared with January to June 2010.

Russia's nickel output in the first six months of 2011 fell by 2.4% compared with January-June last year.
