SHFE Lead Futures Market to Open March 24th

The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced on March 17th to open the SHFE lead futures market on March 24th.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 18 (SMM) -- The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced on March 17th to open the SHFE lead futures market on March 24th. According to SHFE, contract months of the lead futures trade are between September 2011 to March 2012, and the benchmark price of new contracts will be released by SHFE on March 23rd. The margin of the SHFE lead futures trade is temporarily set at 11% of the contract value; price limits are equal to 6% of contract value, but limits are 12% on the first trading day. Transaction commissions are set to be 1/10000 of transactions value, with the delivery commission at RMB 2/mt.
