SHANGHAI, Mar 10, 2011 (Dow Jones Commodities News Select via Comtex) -- China's copper output in February rose 3.8% from a year earlier to 386,000 metric tons, the National Bureau of Statistics said Friday.
Output was down 5.6% from the previous month, when the country produced 409,000 tons of copper, according to Dow Jones Newswires calculations.
Total output in the January-February period rose 7.9% to 795,000 tons, the bureau said.
