Jan 12 (Bloomberg) --China Nonferrous Metal Mining Corp. plans to begin production from its Muliashi copper mine in Zambia by the end of the year, the Times of Zambia reported.
The mine is part of the $350 million Luanshya Copper Mines development operated by China Nonferrous, the Lusaka-based newspaper said, citing spokesman Sydney Chileya. The company has spent $110 million developing the open-pit mine so far, the Times said.
