Barclays Raises 2011 Forecasts for Copper, Aluminum, Tin

NEW YORK, Sep. 17 -- Barclays Capital increased its 2011 estimates for copper, aluminum and tin.

Copper will average a record $8,038 a metric ton next year, the bank said in a report today. That compares with an estimate of $7,763 in a report dated Sept. 10.

Aluminum will average $2,250, from a previous forecast of $2,150, and tin a record $25,000, from a previous estimate of $19,500.
