India's NALCO Sells Alumina at $326.8/ T FOB-Co Source

BHUBANESWAR, India, Sept. 1 -- Indian state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina for $326.80 a tonne free on board, a company source said on Friday.

The alumina, to be shipped next month, was purchased by Hong Kong-based Noble Resources, said the official who has direct knowledge of the deal but could not be named due to company policy.

NALCO, whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold alumina earlier this month for $320.57 a tonne FOB.
