






SHANGHAI, June 1 -- Finland-based Outokumpu Oyi (OUT1V.HE) began operating a stainless steel service center in China Tuesday, which is expected to have an annual capacity of 30,000 metric tons, the company said in a statement.
It said the service center, located in Kunshan city in Jiangsu province, will process stainless coil and plate to mainly offer special grade stainless steel for applications in the energy, petrochemical, transportation and pulp and paper sectors.
Outokumpu is one of the world's largest stainless steel producers and owns the world's largest stainless steel manufacturing plant.
