SYDNEY, Jan. 28 -- Zinc in concentrate production from Australia's giant Century mine is expected to rise to 500,000-510,000 tonnes this year, rebounding from technical problems that cut output by 29 percent in 2009, Minmetals said.
Failure of the transport pipeline resulting in a 79-day concentrate production shut down left output at 360,659 tonnes of zinc metal in concentrate in 2009, the Australian unit of China's Minmetals, Century's owners said in a statement.
