SMM, October 21: Last Friday, the most-traded SHFE tin contract closed at 255,980 yuan/mt, down 480 yuan/mt, a decrease of 0.19%.

SMM, October 21: Last Friday, the most-traded SHFE tin contract closed at 255,980 yuan/mt, down 480 yuan/mt, a decrease of 0.19%. During the early trading session last Friday, the domestic tin ingot brands' premiums and discounts quoted by trading companies did not change much compared to recent days. Specifically, small brand tin ingots were quoted at premiums of +0~+200 yuan/mt against the SHFE 2411 contract, delivery brand prices were quoted at premiums of +200~+600 yuan/mt against the SHFE 2411 contract, Yunnan tin brand quotations against the SHFE 2411 contract were +600~+800 yuan/mt, and imported tin brand spot quotations were -700 yuan/mt against the SHFE 2411 contract. Last Friday, tin prices fluctuated rangebound, and some downstream enterprises made small purchases. Some trading companies had sporadic transactions, while a few trading companies completed 1-2 truckloads. Overall, the spot market transactions were lukewarm last Friday.
