China Aluminium Ore and Concentrate Imports Drop 7.5% YoY

SHANGHAI, Jul 19 – According to the General Administration of Customs, China imported 9.42 million mt of aluminium ore and concentrate in June, down 7.5% YoY. The combined imports in the first six months of 2022 totalled 65.2 million mt, up 18.1% YoY.

The alumina exports stood at 190,000 mt in June, a surge of 3,664.8% YoY. The exports in the first half of 2022 were 570,000 mt, up 1,268.3% YoY.
