On May 19, Hebi Municipal people's Government and Haier Group jointly signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Hebi City.

Hebi has a strong industrial foundation and prominent leading industries. It is an important automotive electronics industry base, modern fine coal chemical base and magnesium processing industry base in Henan Province. With the signing of the framework agreement, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in industrial project investment, industrial development fund, bonded business and other areas.

As a magnesium intensive processing industry base supported by the state and province and the largest automobile wire harness connector production base in the north, Hebi Economic and technological Development Zone has obvious traffic advantages and broad market radiation. On the same day, at the signing ceremony, Qingdao Haiyi Residential Technology Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Haier Group, signed a cooperation agreement with the Management Committee of Hebi Economic and technological Development Zone on the project of Haiqi magnesium alloy lightweight equipment industrial park. The two sides will rely on the foundation of Hebi magnesium intensive processing industry to expand the application field of magnesium material technology and improve the quality of magnesium alloy products. to build a comprehensive headquarters base for the magnesium alloy industry in automotive lightweight, transportation, aerospace, 3C and other applications in the fields of R & D, production, sales and after-service.
