SHFE 1801 Nickel Closes With Losses (2017-8-8)

SHANGHAI, Aug. 8 (SMM) – SHFE 1801 nickel opened at RMB 85,140/mt today and reached RMB 85,230/mt. China’s July import and export data fell short of market expectations and June’s.

In the afternoon, SHFE 1801 nickel fell to RMB 84,030/mt and closed at RMB 84,300/mt, down RMB 180/mt or 0.21%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1801 nickel decreased 21,000 to 427,000, and positions increased 17,500 to 382,000. SHFE 1801 nickel will remain range-bound this evening.
