50% Copper Tube/Pipe Plants Bearish toward Copper Price

SHANGHAI, Dec. 21 (SMM) - About 50% copper tube/pipe producers expect copper prices to fall, citing the bearish market, despite a slight recent uptick from positive news, SMM finds in a survey of 20 Chinese copper tube/pipe producers.

30% see copper prices fluctuate at current levels given muted trading at the year’s end.

The remaining 20% have no idea about copper price trends.
