China’s Gold Production Rises In The First Quarter Of 2023

According to the latest statistics from the China Gold Association, China produced 84.972 mt of gold using domestic raw materials in the first quarter of this year, up 1.571 mt or 1.88% year-on-year. Among them, the output of gold produced with gold minerals was 66.506 mt, and that of gold from non-ferrous metals by-product was 18.466 mt. In addition, China also produced 29.901 mt of gold using imported raw materials in Q1, up 24.41% YoY. Hence, the total output of gold produced with both domestic and imported raw materials was 114.873 mt, up 6.92%.
