The national security and energy and mining sectors approved the resumption of operations on Monday morning, OZ Minerals said.

The company said that ground operations began to resume on Monday afternoon (September 6, 2021) and that underground operations were gradually resuming after discussions with staff.

OZ Minerals added that the company and mining contractor Byrnecut continued to cooperate with the authorities in the investigation.
