According to a report released by the IEA, global energy investment in 2023 will be approximately $2.8 trillion. more than $1.7 trillion is expected to be used in clean energy fields such as renewable energy and electric vehicles.
The IEA also mentioned that in 2022, investment in the electrification of the global transportation sector increased by 60%. Sales of electric vehicles reached a record high level, with global sales exceeding 10 million vehicles. The IEA predicts that in 2023, global investment in electric vehicles will reach $130 billion, doubling compared to 2021.
